I didn't win, but I totally won.

So, as many of you know, I did not win the 1-yr position of WRIF Rock Girl. BUT based on the voting, I made it to the TOP 4! That's HUGE!! Thank you guys for all that support! I couldn't have gotten that close to the $40,000 without YOU!

However, I am getting an internship out of it now that I did not win. So this is why I say that I didn't win but I totally won :-) Either way, I was to get something out of it. The final details of my internship should be worked out by Monday morning.

The last few nights at work have been awesome!! In just three nights I made just under $400 in tips! Clearly, PUB13 is where it's at. You are always welcome to come and visit :-) Besides the rain/tornado warnings tonight, I can't believe how well I did! Serving is definitely a love/hate relationship with me... a night can turn bad very quickly...

So right about now I'm going to put in Freddy no. 5 (since I already watched 3 and 4 before work today), have some wine, and tidy up the apartment a little bit so the beloved roomie doesn't have to put up with it when she comes home in the morning... or so I don't have to put up with it in the morning for that matter... who likes waking up to a mess on the kitchen table?
